food & Drink

Polish Princess 14 min drive

Closest cafe; a beloved town spot with tasty pastries & great coffee.

scorpios • 15 min drive

Closest bar & pizza joint. It’s a cash only no-frills sports bar but literally the longest surviving restaurant in this town so what gives.

Fenn’s way @ The Waumbek • 15 min drive

A nice n’ tasty local clubhouse with an outdoor patio and stunning views, built by Morgan’s parents Sarah and Dave with local parters on the historic golf course they rehabilitated!

Slim pickins • 35 min drive

An unmissable dive in Littleton; owned by dear friends and loved by locals with fan-favorite slogan is “it’s not NOT a gay bar…”

hiking

Mount prospect 15 min drive • Short & Sweet

Achievable and close to town with both a vehicle accessible road and walking trails up to and around the peak, this gets you some sweet local views from the Fire Tower on top.

Starr King & Mount Waumbek 15 Min Drive • 7 miles

This is a solid hike that’s very close to us with huge views of the presidentials. It’s a full day or long morning depending on your speed, but well worth if it you have the time.

percy peaks Loop & Pond Brook Falls • 42 min drive • 6.3 Miles

In the beautiful Nash Stream area North Percy has 360 views of the whites and greens. It’s further north of us into the mountains with little cell service, but there’s a waterfall called Pond Brook Falls just past the trailhead that’s rugged and remote enough to skip the crowds entirely.

lonesome Lake • 47 Min drive

If you’re driving north on I-93 to get to us, this is a great quick 45 minute hike up and around Lonesome Lake, high (but not too high) in the notch. Worth a stop to stretch your legs and enjoy some scenery before the events begin!

areas to explore

littleton, nH 35 min drive

Has a highly regarded main street drag with shops, treats, the world’s longest candy counter, our friend’s fantastic pastry & coffee shop, and our other friends’ bar.

ST JohnsBury, VT 50 min drive

Another cute main street to stroll, window gaze, and have a bite. Check out the dog chapel along Route 2 for a woof of a time.

Swimmin’ Holes

Martin Meadow Pond • 17 Min Drive

A small pond with rustic houses and a launch area for kayaks and small boats. Good for a long swim across.

Moore Reservoir - Dodge Hill Launch • 45 Min Drive

Swimming and picnic areas near the boat launch just off I-91 near Littleton.

Lake Christine • 45 Min Drive

A beautiful and secluded lake north of us in Stark, with a sandy beach and mountain views on either side.
