Greenhouse Receptions

WHAT’S INCLUDED

SPACE ACCESS & SETUP TIME

Client will be able to use the space for their event for up to 7 hours. Events must finish by 9:30 PM (though they may be moved to the sap-house at that time). Client will be able to access the space 24 hours prior to the event for setup (additional time may be possible / granting with approval of Mead Hill).

FURNITURE

Tables & Seating. There are 15 wood tables available, with 2 benches per table that can seat up to 8 people per table (120 total). If clients would like to supply their own chairs for the ends of tables, each table can fit 10 people (bringing capacity up to 150 people total).

  • Clients may rearrange the tables into a formation of their choosing (i.e. tables could be set up separately, or combined to form long rows). 

  • Client may also choose to use some of these tables for food service (i.e. a buffet station). If tables are used in this way, they must be covered to prevent damage.

  • If client would like to use their own tables/seating, there will be an additional charge for Mead Hill to move their tables/benches into storage (they’re solid and heavy!). Mead Hill will not be responsible for setting up the client’s tables/seating in this case.  

Bar. Bar structure will remain in the space. It cannot be moved. Bartending services must be hired by the client if there is to be alcohol served.

BAsic sound package

Our basic sound system includes PA speakers, subwoofers, a mixing board, and jack for plugging in a phone or computer. Clients may take a “DIY” approach for music with this system, or hire a DJ to manage it. Often bands & DJ’s will provide their own setups, but make sure to check! We reserve the right to cap volume for our neighbors, and enforce a music curfew.

We have additional and deluxe add on packages for you can find in the add-on section here, which include:

  • Additional sound components (microphones, other band equipment etc.)

  • Stage/concert lighting (programmable lighting display, moving lights, haze machine, other effects)

  • AV support to direct lighting and sound

Outlets, Electricity, Lighting

Outlets will be available for plugging in any necessary equipment. Lighting in the greenhouse (outside of the stage/concert add-on package) will be fixed / provided and cannot be removed. Client may dim/adjust lighting to suit their needs.
